Easy to check all the information on the go and like the SE model no need to raise your wrist to wake your watch. The Digital Crown further improves the experience, it is powered by the S6 SiP (System In Package) with 64-bit dual-core processor which makes it 20 percent faster than Series 5. The animations look snappy and it ultimately delivers a premium smartwatch experience. Series 6 has 5GHz Wi-Fi and U1 Ultra wideband chip which can help share data faster between watch and phone.

Battery

The one thing which needs to be better is its battery life as it only offers like a day of endurance. Though the battery life is rated at 18 hours similar to the SE model, this Series 6 performs better and users are getting 30%-40% more by the end of the day. Users are even getting even 2-days of juice with power off the always-on display, mild workout, and sleep tracking. In heavy usage, like hiking, jogging, Always On Display, it will still perform for the day without a charge and It also supports a fast-charging, It is Full 🔋 charge in 1.5 hrs.

Performance

On the health tracking side of things, Apple has finally debuted a Blood Oxygen sensor on Series 6, however that feature is not available in most of the regions yet. The remarkable sensor allows users to take on-demand readings of blood oxygen as well as background readings, day and night. Series 6 is capable of generating an ECG similar to a single-lead electrocardiogram. Electrodes built into the Digital Crown and the back crystal work together with the ECG app to read your heart’s electrical signals.

Apple Watch Series 6 have a water resistance rating of 50 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that they may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. Similar to SE watch, S6 can also detect hard fall detection and automatically calls emergency services for you.

Verdict

Then Apple Watch Series 5 is still in sales in most of the places, and Apple SE model, if you are fine with aluminum case, then it is still the value for money with basic features and SE is twice as fast as 2017’s Series 3, but still, if you want to upgrade to the better features, the then obvious choice is Apple Watch Series 6. The major change which Watch Series 6 has sensors that measure your blood oxygen levels and an improved battery with an upgraded chipset S6. This is the best smartwatch Apple has made till dated.

The other competitive models like Fitbit, Samsung are designed specifically considering the general health and fitness enthusiast and they are cheaper in price but these are not made as sleek and elegant and even don’t work well with iPhone.
