Lava has launched its first 5G mid-range smartphone in India, Lava Agni 5G (Made In India). This is the first 5G-ready phone from an Indian brand. The Lava offers a quite impressive design with a big screen, nice camera and decent battery in less then 20k. Lava is competing with Chinese brands like Realme in the same price range.
Specification: It features MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 MT6833 5G chipset which gives power efficient 5G connectivity. This will the first 5G-ready smartphone in India. The phone runs on the near-stock version of Android 11. The Brand is offering only one variant, 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. As of now it is being sold in single Fiery blue color variant.
Display: The Lava AGNI 5G sports a massive 6.78-inch Full HD+ resolution (1080X2460) and 90Hz refresh rate with 91.73 percent screen to body ratio. It has punch hole design. The screen is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Fingerprint scanner is integrated on the side power button as well as a face unlock feature.
Camera : The AGNI 5G packs a 16MP AI enabled selfie front-facing camera. The rear camera unit houses a 64MP main lens, a 5MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP portrait lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a dual-LED flash. The Rear Camera create Wide Perspectives, Super Macro and Artistic Styles.
Connectivity & Battery: Lava is offering a 5,000 mAh battery, which supports 30W rapid charging. The common connectivity features like dual SIM, 5G, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack are also available on the Lava AGNI 5G.
Price: The Lava Agni 5G price in India is set at ₹19,999. Those who pre-book the phone before November 17 will be able to buy the Lava Agni at a discounted price of ₹17,999 at pre-book amount of ₹500 on the official Lava site.
